Quick Budget-Friendly Refresh.
Hi loves! I am so excited to share this fun fast 5 tips to refresh your kitchen! I wanted to bring in a little moroccan twist to it.
I’m happy to share with you our Karama Studio kitchen! I was avoiding this place when we first moved in. The space was tiny and opened to the rest of the studio. Because of the open space it felt like one big kitchen.
The kitchen island I created allowed me to create a separation from the kitchen and the rest of the studio. Now that the kitchen has its own space I could focus on it and create these quick 5 tip refresh.
There you have it! Quick tips to refresh your kitchen!
My goal with Karama is to help you create a life that already feels like you are on a vacation. So put your phone on airplane mode and dive into these fun tips!
1 ) Change the hardware.
The quickest way to transform your kitchen is changing the hardware. I found these brass knobs under $20. They made my kitchen feel more luxurious. I like to stick to gold meticals to remind me of the rich color I would find in Morocco.
2) Add Plants
Did you know green is the most calming color for our eyes?! It makes sense since nature is made up from that color. I like to add in small plants around the kitchen it make the space feel more spacious.
3) Add Art
I love adding artwork that reminds me of a beautiful place. I choose these moroccan prints from our shop. Adding artwork is important especially when you don’t have a window to look out of. Bring in pieces that have meaning to you. When you are relaxed while you cook and eat your body digests the food helping you feel energized.
4) Add Towels
A fun way to make your kitchen stand out is adding pretty towels. I love having our tea towels hung all over the kitchen.
5) Add Pops of Color
When seasons change I love to bring in colors to match the season. Since it’s summertime I love adding bright colors. Color plays an important role to heal your wellbeing. “Color therapy is an alternative therapy that uses colors and their frequencies to heal physical and emotional problems.”
