A Happy Healthy Home Challenge

Hi beautiful souls! I hope you are doing well during these difficult times. I know a lot of us are feeling anxious. I especially have been, because I was quarantined since January due to my broken ankle! So you might say I have become a quarantine expert.

I wanted to do something fun to lighten the mood and keep our minds busy. As an interior therapist, I specialize in creating safe havens that aid your mind, body, and soul.

This challenge helps you do just that! I hope you can join me as we create a happy healthy home together.

I will announce a winner every Sunday to those who participate. All you need to do is use the #happyhealthyhome and tag @karamabyhome.

Winners will receive something special from our shop!

Week 1 - Clutter-Free

In the first week, we will focus on clearing out your home. Psychology says if your mind is clutter chances are so is your space. It might be hard keeping your space tidy when you have young children so take it day by day - section by section. It might not stay like that so a quick tidy up every evening before you sleep will help you wake up and feel productive.

Week 2 - Creating New Spaces

Creating different sections for your space will allow your home to feel functional and more restful. For most of you, its been over two weeks of working from home. It’s best for you to create a special area that you can work from. As someone who has been working from home for nearly a decade, it is important to have a spot that is solely for work. This allows your mind to feel more restful when you sit in other areas of your home. Also creating areas of relaxation is important for your well-being.

Week 3 - Out with the Old in with the New

Adding new items and/or new activities in your home will make you look forward to spending more time in your space. It is important to allow your mind to learn new things while stuck in one place. This helps you feel more productive.

Week 4 - Downtime

Since we are in fact home all day downtime is needed. Long baths, candlelight dinners, movie marathons we finally have the chance to lounge and no one can say anything! Spend this time really making your home your sanctuary where you can feel relaxed and recharged.
