Creating a Perfect Zen Spot

We have been spending time indoors more than ever. Our homes can suddenly feel smaller and not exciting to stay inside. I am here to tell you that feeling can change!

I found that creating a specific spot to zen out for a bit can make a huge difference in your space.

What is a Zen Spot?

This is a spot in your home where you can spend a few minutes in your day to enjoy stillness.

I remember I read a quote that said “if you don’t have ten minutes for yourself in a day, then you don’t have a life.”

I know life can get crazy especially if you are mother with small children but having a short time to yourself is essential for your well-being.

Since Mother’s Day is right around the corner, try finding a corner in your home where you can relax. If you live with your mom you should surpise her! .

Elements to add

I wanted my space to feel like a Moroccan oasis. Most elements I have here you can find in the Karama shop.Things you should add elements that bring peace to you.

Candles
Diffuser
Throw blankets
Soft cushions
Storage Baskets (to put your books, crafts,etc)
Plants/Florals

One thing that I really wanted to add was this Urban Outfitters Wall Hanging but it was $100! I decided to DYI!

I used my Cricut Joy to cut out gold cardstock. This machine is super easy to use, I literally just used the Cricut app to cut the images.
